2020, oil paint on plywood board.

The center of the painting is an aerial view of the battle field at Verdun in WWI, depicting the craters generated by aerial bombing. The cave paintings are inspired by Grotte de Lascaux. A network of caves near the village of Montignac, France, with over 600 parietal wall paintings covering the interior walls and ceilings of the caves. The paintings primarily represent large animals that correspond with the fossil records of the Upper Paleolithic in the area. The age of the wall paintings are estimated to be around 17,000 years old.
